Austrian F1 GP: Top 10 qualifying times

SPIELBERG, Austria – Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton will start Sunday’s 2016 Austrian F1 GP on pole after a qualifying session that finished in rain. Nico Hulkenberg (Force India) will be alongside him.

Hamilton’s team mate Nico Rosberg was actually second fastest in quali but must take a five-place grid penalty; The Hulk’s fastest lap actually placed him third on the grid (see qualifying times below) but he too might face a penalty – he was being investigated for a possible yellow-flag infringement.

Fourth-fastest Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) also takes a five-place penalty for, like Rosberg, an unscheduled gearbox change so Jenson Button (McLaren) will start third.
