The official unveiling of this latest Ducati bike, on Tuesday (Oct 4) evening, will end the special media-only day of the key international motorcycle exhibition.
‘BIKE FOR SPORTS-STYLE RIDING’
After giving all the Ducatisti and motorcycle enthusiasts an exclusive look at the SuperSport the new sport/road bike from the Bologna-based bike manufacturer will be ready for a wider audience.
The new SuperSport is a bike for those eager to ride sports-style on everyday roads. Fun, versatile and accessible, the bikemaker says, with true Ducati sports styling and zest. “The SuperSport promises exciting, fun riding while ensuring everyday comfort and easy handling whatever the road is like.”
An innovative leap that, even before its debut, won widespread support and aroused considerable interest; at Cologne, the SuperSport is set to steal the limelight once again.
Intermot will also provide a great opportunity to enjoy an international preview of other aspects of Ducati’s 2017 range, such as the stylish “Volcano Grey” paint job on the Multistrada 1200 S.
More than just new colours, there will be appealing, practical and technical upgrades: for 2017, the Multistrada 1200 family will have a new air box and a recalibrated engine – changes that, Ducati says, will give the twin-cylinder Testastretta DVT even more-satisfying mid-range power delivery (watch the new video),
Ducati will also present new Euro 4 engines for the Monster 821 and Diavel. The Monster 821 range, moreover, now has an appealing yet assertive Dust Grey colour – an opaque grey of outstanding freshness and flair that perfectly matches the red frame and wheels.
Major upgrades have also been made to the Ducati Superbike family which, on the 1299 Panigale and 1299 Panigale S, will see the introduction of the latest EVO version of Ducati Traction Control and Ducati Wheelie Control.
