LONDON, England- Ducati dealers across Britain and Ireland will this week take delivery of the much-anticipated Multistrada 950, the newest (Jan 2017) model in the Multistrada family,/
“The machine,” Ducat says, “will add accessibility and versatility without losing the renowned Ducati performance.”
The adventure-touring bike has all the features and comfortable ergonomics of the larger Multistrada 1200 and that machine’s agile and manageable dynamic handling but is powered by a 937cc Testastretta engine.
“A 19” front wheel and widely adjustable suspension,” Ducati says, “help over any terrain and its 20 litre fuel tank, panniers and adjustable windshield make it the perfect middleweight Ducati tourer.
“It joins the Multistrada 1200, 1200S and 1200 Enduro.”
The 950 can be personalised from an extensive array of accessories such as heatable grips, enduro windscreen and comfortable saddle. There’s also a choice of personalised packages which lists:
Touring Pack: Panniers and centre stand.
Sport Pack: Performance exhaust by Termignoni (complies with EU homologation, billet aluminium frame plugs, billet aluminium front brake-fluid reservoir plug.
Urban Pack: Top case, tank bag with tank lock, and a USB hub to charge electric devices.
Enduro Pack: Supplementary diode lights, Ducati Performance components by Touratech, engine crash bars, aluminium radiator guard, aluminium sump guard, a broader kick-stand base and off-road rider pegs.
Ducati also has range of apparel dedicated to the Multistrada experience with the Strada range which includes fabric jacket and gloves as well as the Strada Tour V3 helmet based on the Arai Tour X4 model.
The Multistrada 950 is now available to view and order at your nearest authorised Ducati dealer.
The Multistrada will be available in two extra colours: Ducati Red for (British prices, converted as a guide) R181 000 and Star White Silk for R184 000.
