TORRANCE, California – Lexus, following the recent debut of its LS 500 in Detroit and LS 500h in Geneva, has announced an all-new LS F Sport thatl make its world debut in New York ahead of the upcoming 2017 New York international auto show.
The all-new LS F is based on an extended version of the brand’s premium global architecture for luxury vehicles (GA–L) platform – the stiffest that Lexus has yet developed – which, the automaker says, offers enhanced handling, ride smoothness and cabin quietness.
F Sport models,” Lexus says, “will capitalise on the platform’s responsiveness and agility to present the most engaging LS driving experience yet and will be available on the LS 500 and LS 500h.
The 2018 LS 500 F Sport will be on display from April 12 at the Lexus booth at the show in the Javits Convention Centre.
Lexus began its journey in 1989 with two luxury sedans and a commitment to pursue perfection. Since then the Toyota subsidiary Lexus has developed its vehicles to meet the needs of global luxury customers in more than 90 countries.
With five models, Lexus claims to be the luxury hybrid leader.
The brand also has F Sport models and two F performance models and says it is committed to being “a visionary brand that anticipates the future for luxury customers”.
