PARIS, France – Successive generations of Renault’s Mégane RS have since 2004 provided their buyers with landmark innovation and technology and a choice of Sport or Cup chassis.
Since then the brand has “explored new frontiers” to improve suspension, engine performance and aerodynamics and installed the best of F1 technology.
“Each generation of Mégane RS,” Renault says, “has stood out as a benchmark in the compact sport-car class.
“RenaultSport’s road car range has long been driven by the experience Renault has forged in F1 through four decades and three generations of its flagship model – the Mégane RS – which have featured a raft of advanced technology for almost 15 years.”
The 2018 Mégane RS will “break cover” on Friday (May 26) when it will be driven around the Monaco track by RenaultSport Racing F1 driver Nico Hülkenberg with yellow and black livery to mark the 40th anniversary of Renault’s involvement in F1.
The official media launch will be at the September 2017 Frankfurt auto show.
