- Special Ops design pack adds personalisation
- Unique bumpers, sills, vents, tailpipe finishers
- Upgrade for all standard-wheelbase units since 2013
PRETORIA, Gauteng – Land Rover has created further personalisation for the Range Rover – an exterior Design Pack” created by Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations.
“It introduces,” JLR says, “highly desirable and distinctive exterior add-ons to complement Range Rover’s combination of outstanding British design and advanced engineering.”
The exterior bits include unique front and rear bumpers – the rear incorporating quad tailpipes – new side vents and sills and a “bespoke” grille.
The parts have been engineered and tested in-house at the new SVO Technical Centre in Coventry, central England, will be fitted by dealers, and delivered in all Land Rover accent colour finishes regardless of trim level and exterior styling packs already fitted.
The pack is also available for all standard-wheelbase current-generation Range Rover models produced from 2013, including the new 405kW SV Autobiography Dynamic, and in combination with other packs previously applied to the vehicle.
The 2017 model-year Range Rover has a range of innovative safety and convenience technology, including tow assist – a clever aid that makes reversing trailers, caravans and even horseboxes easier and safer.
Low-traction launch and advanced safety features such as driver monitor and blind-spot warnings complete the under-the-skin upgrades.
Interior changes introduce a 25cm dual-view touchscreen running Land Rover’s InControl Touch Pro system which includes “market-leading” satnav and greater connectivity “to deliver the most intuitive and capable Jaguar Land Rover infotainment system yet”.
