Toyota believes its Aygo small car is synonymous with style and originality – given its colour scheme that includes an instantly noticed, if not necessarily instantly recognised, stylised X across the radiator assembly, it might be correct.
Toyota SA has now (July 2017) added an X-Cite model to the standard Aygo and Aygo X-Play Black, each a wannabe “convertible” thanks to a retractable, full-length, black canvas roof. (Image is not a South African model.)
Each X-Cite is finished in black, too, and each has a one-litre fuel-injected petrol engine and a manual transmission with overall control benefitting from vehicle stability control.
Daytime running lights, 15″ alloy wheel rims, crash bags for driver and front passenger supplemented by curtain bags are included in this the third model.
