MUNICH, Germany – BMW Group is pushing ahead with vehicle electrification strategy by extending the reach to the company’s core brands and the BMW Concept iX3 – debuted Auto China 2018 show in Beijing – offers a look ahead to the expansion of the model line-up in this area.

The first model from the BMW brand to be driven purely by electric power will be a full-fledged sport activity vehicle ”without compromises when it comes to functionality and comfort”.

”Concept iX3,” BMW says, ”underscores the group’s resolve to further strengthen its leading position in electric mobility. The expansion of our vehicle range with emissions-free mobility is defined by the Automated, Connected, Electrified and Services (ACES) technological fields on which the company is driving autmotive transformation.”
